FUN FACT - West Slope Terrace gets its name from the West Slope unincorporated suburb of Portland, which is located just east of the city of Beaverton. West Slope Terrace is nestled on a hill off of Canyon Lane but is surrounded by wooded area all directions. This gives West Slope it's slogan - "A short distance away. A far away feel."

About: West Slope Terrace Apartments History
West Slope Terrace was originally built in 1969 and features 96 units with an average square footage of 1,000 square feet across all apartments. West Slope Terrace was formally known as Markana Apartments and sold for $8.1 Million in December of 2010.
Before that in the 2008-2009 range, Markana went through an extensive remodeling process at a cost of over $16K per unit. This was done to bring the units more up to date and to complement many of the already unique features. Some of these unique features include vaulted ceilings, stone fireplaces, sunken living rooms and interesting floor plans. Spaciously living areas, patios, decks and larger than average square footage sets West Slope Terrace apart from other complexes in the area.
Other improvements made before and after the renovation of Markana / West Slope Terrace are the following exterior changes giving it a "like new" appearance:
